2021 Safety Fair
- Safety Videos: Luke is dealing with all of the safety videos.
Some organizations are still working on producing their safety videos.
It was decided that the MCSC should probably have a YouTube page for the videos. Analytics on YouTube is a consideration for having the videos on a YouTube page. - Question and Answer Lists were briefly discussed and the only question was to confirm where to submit the lists, which was to the MCSC email account. Luke Daniel can also receive them in his email account.
- Web Page for Safety Videos and Q&A Lists: It was decided to discuss this at the board meeting later in the week. Jeff Colton and Sanatam Khalsa were invited as gests to that meeting since they are on the MCSC webpage & social media subcommittee.
- Swag Bags: It was stated that the handout items should be dropped off at the Highline Lake facility. But they can be provided to Ashlee Wallace or Alan Martinez.
- Glenn Kiser said he would pursue getting bags for handouts from Cabela’s.
- It was decided the deadline for dropping off handouts be extended to February 17th.
- Jim Pringle confirmed the original request for 1200 handout items from organizations. There was a discussion on coordination of transferring the filled handout (swag) bags from Highline Lake to WCCA. Delivery of swag bags was discussed.
- Drawing for Prizes:
It was decided to have the drawing for prizes for ALL students in Mesa County (public schools, private schools, homeschool students).
Analytics for tracking the classes and homeschool families was discussed.
Matt suggested that we link the analytics to the Q&A lists. Sanatam concurred and also proposed using Survey Monkey.
It was suggested organizations mark the most important questions on their Q&A lists.
Jim Pringle said he would send an email message this week to the MCSC mailing list to request prizes for the drawing. There were several suggestions for what types of prizes would be appropriate, including a pizza and/or ice cream party. - Safety Fair Notifications: Jim Pringle said he has notified SD51 and will be notifying private schools and homeschool groups.
- Media – Jim Pringle has notified them in Mesa County. Waiting to hear back from Brian Wiley at KJCT/KKCO.
- Partner Assistance – May possibly happen from some organizations.
MCSC Board Position Nominations - Vice President – Luke Daniel was nominated for the position. All voted in favor!
February 2021 Monthly MCSC Meeting: Was set for Friday, 2-12-21 at 10:30 AM.

Respectfully submitted by Jim Pringle, MCSC Secretary
